Howard Schwartz has been marketing director at Gambler's Book Shop (Gambler's Book Club) since 1979. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, he earned graduate degrees from Kansas State University in Manhattan and University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, in Technical Journalism and Secondary Education (Reading Specialist). He worked for newspapers in New York, Montana, Nevada, California and Missouri, plus the Associated Press. He considers himself in reality, a "librarian for gamblers," and has helped edit more than 40 books published by Gambler's Book Club. He writes book reviews for five gaming publications, weekly and monthly and reads more than 100 books a year related to the gaming industry.
