Roger Raatgever, CEO, Microgaming commented: “Reaching $200m in payouts is a true landmark moment in the life of online gaming, but to reach it in three short years is remarkable. I think it’s fair to say that this serves as testament to our commitment to provide the best and most rewarding playing experiences on the web. But, it doesn’t stop there. With over 60 new games earmarked for release this year alone, we believe it won’t be long before we celebrate reaching the $300m mark.”
Microgaming’s progressive network has developed a reputation for generating overnight millionaires, creating eight to date. The $200m total equates to an average of $18,000 being paid out each day since launch. All the jackpots won through the casinos that provide the progressive games are offered in full, direct cash payments.
As a founding member of eCOGRA, Microgaming is also at the forefront of an initiative focused on setting the highest standards in the gaming industry, most notably in the areas of fair gaming, responsible operator conduct and player protection.
