"Casino backers are collecting signatures for a November ballot issue that would legalize slot machines at Ohio’s seven racetracks — including two in Franklin County — and at two downtown Cleveland locations.
"Both candidates for governor, Republican J. Kenneth Blackwell and Democrat Ted Strickland, oppose the measure.. . ."
