new online casinos in the United States? New Jersey, Pennsylvania and other states are hoping he will help end some of the restrictions

placed on players and casino operators. But realistically, with Trump taking millions of dollars from Sheldon Adelson, a well-known foe of online gambling, the odds don't look good.
Pennsylvania hopes to be the fourth state to regulate online gambling, joining Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware. There is legislation moving forward. In fact, the money expected to be earned from legal online casinos has already be included in the state's 2017 budget. That's wishful thinking...
In New Jersey, December turned out to be an excellent month for New Jersey online gambling revenues. The state earned $18.4m from state-licensed online gambling sites and which was a 8.6% over the year before. The NJ online gambling industry is looking to earn more than $200 million in revenues in 2017. This would be at least a 30% increase over what people wagered last year, and is primarily coming from casino gamblers, not poker players. But legislation regarding sports book betting is stymied and is now in front of the US Supreme Court. Again, oddsmakers are not optimistic for New Jersey's sport betting online.
In Delaware, which launched its online gambling industry in late 2013, the gambling market contracted in 2015, but 2016 had a big rebound for the online casinos. Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway are the state’s three online gambling operators. The state has a liquidity sharing deal with Nevada for poker.
Nevada, the pioneer state of legal gambling, is taking a slower approach when it comes to online casinos. Currently the state only allows poker sites (and only two of them) for state residents.
Of course, players from the United States are gambling online even if they don't live in the states where there are regulated state casinos. Most states are lenient when it comes to players' betting at offshore casinos. But if you are tempted to do so, make sure you are following your state's laws.
If you live in New Jersey, here are some sites where you can play in the regulated New Jersey online casinos.
