Latin American Poker Tour Ready for Fourth Event

LONDON, England -- The PokerStars Latin American Poker Tour Season Two makes its way to its penultimate stop of the tour in Punta del Este, Uruguay. The three day event will be held at the beautiful
  Mantra Resort Spa Casino from March 18-20, 2009.

Punta del Este hosted the PokerStars LAPT Season One Grand Final. The magnificent venue lies alongside the most beautiful beaches and vistas and is considered to be the Crown Jewel of South America. Players will have the opportunity to compete against some of the world's top players including Team PokerStars pros Andre Akkari, Alexandre Gomes, J.C Alverado, Humberto Brenes, and Victor Ramdin.

Players can win their seat to the event on PokerStars with satellites running for as little as $0.25 or 250 FPP points or, buy directly into the tournament for $3,500 + $200. Players can also qualify via the live satellite running at the casino the night before the main event from 9:30pm to 1:00am. There is expected to be a field of over 300 players, with a second chance event starting on March 19, 2009 for $1,020 + $80.
