COSTA RICA - The PokerStars Poker Camp is your chance to improve your game with hands-on training from the sharpest minds in the game. Team PokerStars Pro will be on hand to provide invaluable coaching
at one of the biggest poker tournaments in the world, which just happens to be in the Caribbean paradise of The Bahamas.
The Poker Camp will feature cutting edge poker instruction from members of Team PokerStars Pro*, led by Greg Raymer, Daniel Negreanu, Chris Moneymaker and Vanessa Rousso, who will teach you essential strategies to help you reach the money in deep-stack, championship style, multi-table tournaments. The Camp will cater to all abilities, with modules geared to intermediate and advanced players. There will also be plenty of live hand analysis, the cornerstone of successful poker instruction.
The Camp includes a live multi-day tournament, awarding packages to other PokerStars events!
It’s not all hitting the books though. The Poker Camp will be held in one of the world’s most exotic and luxurious locations, the Atlantis Hotel and Resort, situated on Paradise Island in The Bahamas. As you’d expect from such a stunning venue, there is plenty to keep you occupied, with watersports, shopping excursions, or simply kicking back on the beach.
You can win a package to attend the Poker Camp, worth $4,500, by entering weekday satellites and qualifying for a Saturday Final. 60 packages are available to join us in The Bahamas in the New Year.
The Poker Camp will take place during the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA), January 7 - 9, 2009, at the Atlantis Hotel and Resort in The Bahamas. See the Poker Camp schedule page for more details of how the camp works and the subjects we’ll be covering.
Packages to the PCA Bahamas Poker Camp will consist of four nights accommodation, $1,000 for travel, $500 room credit for food, three days of camp instruction, and a Camp tournament ticket worth $500.
